Becky Duff is an experienced third sector leader, having worked previously in a leading health charity and mental health anti-stigma campaign. Becky is passionate about creating a society where young people can thrive. She believes that U-Evolve’s approach to supporting young people is key to achieving this goal.
Eilidh Macdonald-Harte is a master coach, novice mother … because her boys keep changing the rules. She is a dedicated believer in human potential to grow, develop & change. She is Chairman of U-Evolve, psychotherapist and speaker.
Shelley Hutton is a veteran manager with a housing charity and has previous Trustee experience at her sons’ after school club. She is passionate about how adverse childhood experiences shape behaviours into adulthood and is currently focused on delivering trauma informed services where she works as Customer Service and Research Manager.
Having spent years working in Financial Services, Carlye is learning a whole new language in the third sector and in the world of U-evolve!
Becky Dyer is an experienced Primary School Teacher at Clermiston Primary School. She graduated with a BEd Hons from Edinburgh University 2005 and has been a primary teaching practitioner in two schools in the North of Edinburgh since then.
Becky is a passionate educator who believes that every child deserves the support and nurture to flourish.
Lorna discovered while working for big companies that she is very good at seeing and nurturing the potential in people. Now she runs her very own small business doing exactly that and practises at home on her husband and three children, although they are far more challenging.
Janice has recently retired after working in a variety of roles in all three sectors, from full time trade union official to director of HR. She’s fascinated by how organisations work and by finding ways to help people work together. She takes on small work assignments in between taking off in her motorhome, walking long distance paths, spending time with friends and generally living the dream.
Scott is an accountant by training, but, likes to think that he not a typical accountant! He has held leaderships roles in a number of organisations and was most recently Finance Director at Morton Fraser Solicitors. Scott has extensive board and governance experience. He is U-Evolve’s Treasurer.
Caroline is the CEO of Social Good Connect, an organisation linking employers and their employees to volunteering opportunities. She is passionate about supporting the third sector and currently holds four Trustee/Board roles. Caroline has worked with U-evolve since 2017 and understand the vital role that the organisation plays in enabling young people to reach positive destinations.
Tolga Kuyucuoglu is a training psychotherapist and life coach. He has > extensive experience of psychological therapies including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Tolga also has an MSc in the Psychology of Mental Health from the University of Edinburgh. He has worked with the Samaritans, the YMCA and other voluntary organisations. Tolga strongly believes that all individuals are capable of flourishing with the right guidance and support, and he is determined to shine a light on the greatness that resides within us all.
Ian Downie is a training psychotherapist and therapeutic coach. With a background in residential childcare, he began his training with the ambition of doing more than providing basic care.
Ian is passionate about raising mental health awareness, to remove the stigma associated with mental illness and to support those who need a bit of help. He believes that everyone deserves an opportunity to find happiness in life and will do anything he can to help them find it.
