Our services for young people

Individual services

We offer 1:1 support using Mental Health Coaching, Art Therapy and Counselling. Swipe through below to see a summary of each service and click the button to read more information about support.

Mental Health Coaching

Our Mental Health Coaches, Ana and Tamara, help you understand and manage your emotions through mental health education and goal setting. We’ll help you through tough times, help you to develop coping strategies, and guide you in pursuing your goals. Sessions usually take place weekly for an hour.

Art Therapy

Art Therapy is a therapy where art materials are used to help you explore your emotions and express yourself, when words alone might feel difficult. We have a wide range of materials for you to use, to help you visualise your feelings and to externalise internal experiences you might be having. This process can support you in identifying challenges and overcoming difficulties.

Counselling

Counselling is a type of talking therapy where you can chat with a trained therapist about your issues and concerns in a safe and private space. Our counsellor will not give advice or tell you what to do, instead they will listen and work with you to help you find your own path. Counselling can help with lots of things and can support you to cope better with life’s challenges.

Referrals for individual support

If you think you, or a young person you know, could benefit from U-evolve’s individual support please complete our referral form and one of the team will be in touch. We’ll arrange to meet or have a chat so that you can get to know us and you can decide if you want to work together. If you’d rather have a quick chat before completing the form, please email [email protected] to arrange this.

Group services

Our Young Voices and Drop-in services are open to anyone and we’d love to hear from you about getting involved. Wellbeing groupworks are workshops we deliver to existing groups, like schools and youth clubs, and aren’t open to referrals. However, if you think a group you are part of could benefit from working with U-evolve then please let us know!

Young Voices allows you to have a say in the issues that matter to you around mental health and mental health support. Our Young Voices groups play an active role in shaping how we work at U-evolve and is an opportunity to gain volunteering hours, advocacy experience, and make a real difference.

We provide weekly drop-in sessions at our office space. Our drop-in provides a safe space where you can take part in some art activities, get information about support or simply have a chat and a cup of tea!

We run group programmes to help you connect, share experiences, and learn new ways to support your wellbeing. Our programme regularly changes based on what you ask for but can include topics like identity, anxiety, self-esteem, stress management and using the outdoors and nature to support wellbeing.
